Sparks and Security

For Callie, it always has been about seeking and yielding security. From the time she learnt about feelings , being secure was everything to her. When she had her first teenage crush, she thought this is it,' he's going to be my soulmate'. Her little heart broke the very next moment, when she saw her crush talking to a lot of other girls at school.

Such cute age! All of us I am sure have been through such benign feelings.

But when you actually feel a connect , a sparkle, do you start sinking in the feeling as eternal or do you start feeling anxious that the twinkle may be lost soon?

With Callie, anxiousness always crept in. The fear of losing out, the fear of being left behind, the fear of not working out always topped the perpetuity. Callie had always seen security worked the best.If you are secured at work space , you are happy. If you have secured trust in your partner, you are happy.

But, what about the happiness that the sparkle brought, what about the one that chemistry brought? Does that last forever?

Callie told herself a best bet would be  always security with some sparkle, still questioning herself does such a balanced world even exist?

P.S: This post is a result of coffee chronicles with the head :)

Do any of us feel the same insanity?

Would love to hear some voices around here.

  1. Spark. It's like grades. You have to earn it, accomplish it... Work at it. As long as Callie teases her partner as much as se adores him... He will be craving her. As long as she surprises him (and sometimes herself, in the process) every now and then... He will stay excited to be around her. As long as she takes out some time and space for herself and her personal growth... He will have the opportunity to miss her. These things radiate the charm of an independent girl, the grace of a confident lady. And that is the very definition of sexy, mind you. As long as she emits this sexy side of her, he will forever be under her spell. Keep him on his toes, Callie and you'll forget the sparks and be blinded by the fireworks... And oh how they last when you do it for all the right reasons.

  6. great write up Sabreen!! I want to amend a little bit..Security here shud be taken as a guy who loves u more Dan u love him.....it's always a good buy.For long term settlement it's always gud I guess,For eternal thing..There's a fear of only one thing in that case...We shud not let our sparkle overcome our stability for the rest of our life.....coz it's good for a mental state of mind of a guy who believes in u

  9. Love.Crush :) :)
Crushes make you feel crazy emotions--like feeling shy and uncontrollably giddy at the same time .
And then there comes a twist of feelings of anxiety and longingness which fades gradually as the relationship solidifies and the same SPARK then reflects the love , confidence and happiness more strongly then ever .
